Text Box: Snack time can be placed at any time if desired, depending on the time of your meeting. Girls may want a snack at the beginning of the meeting if the meeting is immediately following school. It should last no longer than 10 min.

Time	Activity	Description
5-10 min	Start up activity	Have something for girls to do when they arrive that requires little leader direction. This promotes positive energy instead of chaos.
5 min	Opening	Establish a routine that will always start your meeting. (flag ceremony, game, song, reciting Promise and Law)
10 min	Sharing Time	Provide a topic for them to talk about that will express their interests, feelings, and daily experiences. Make sure all girls get to speak, and be responsive to what they say.
10 min	Girl Scout Circle/Business	Take attendance, collect dues, brainstorm ideas, make plans, vote on decisions.
20 min	Program Activity	Direct the girls on doing the day’s project. Make a craft, do a service project, work on a recognition.
10 min	Clean up	Girl Scouts always leave a place better than how they found it. Girls are responsible to clean up after themselves. Leaders should not do the cleaning up.
5 min	Closing	Remind girls of upcoming activities, permission slips. Give handouts. Establish a routine that will always close your meeting so the girls will know when it is over. This could be a friendship circle, or a song.
