Daisy Leadership |
As in all levels of Girl Scouting, the basis of the Daisy program is helping the girls define, understand and live the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. |
Your role as a leader will be to guide the girls on this path. Leadership is: Coaching And Guiding •Your role is not to perform for the girls or to be a teacher Knowing •That you cannot and should not know everything that the girls will want to learn Teaching •Not only for the sake of knowing, but also for the sake of development and growth of the girls Belonging •Recognize that you are part of a team |
For ideas on how to plan with the girls, see Safety-Wise page 24. |
