Daisy Leadership

As in all levels of Girl Scouting, the basis of the Daisy program is helping the girls define, understand and live the values of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Your role as a leader will be to guide the girls on this path.  Leadership is:

Coaching And Guiding

•That you cannot and should not know everything that the girls will want to learn

Teaching

•Not only for the sake of knowing, but also for the

sake of development and growth of the girls

Belonging

•Recognize that you are part of a team

For ideas on how to plan with the girls, see Safety-Wise page 24.
